Help Shape Young Faith: Volunteers Needed
The Parish Religious Education Program is seeking volunteer catechists, classroom helpers, and substitutes to join our dedicated team. Volunteer involvement is essential to the success of our program and offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Being a catechist can be a fulfilling role for several reasons, including personal growth, sharing the Gospel, and contributing to the Church's mission. By becoming a catechist, you can deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith, model good stewardship, and play a vital role in nurturing the faith of others.
Classes meet 10–11 times per semester, and your support can make a real difference in the faith journey of our youth. If you're interested, please contact the Director of Religious Education (DRE) at sandran@holyfamilyeudora.com.
Sixth Graders: Time to Register for Confirmation Class
This summer, Confirmation class will be held in a week-long session for rising 7th and 8th graders (for the 2025-2026 school year). The sessions will be held June 9th - 13th for the 7th-grade students and June 16th - 20th for the 8th-grade students. Class will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. each day, and snacks and lunches will be provided. Please mark your calendars and register here.
VIRTUS Training for Adults
The VIRTUS® programs assist the Church in being a safe haven for children and a messenger for preventing child sexual abuse within the Church and society in general. The Archdiocese requires all volunteers who have regular contact with children/youth and could be perceived as an adult in charge and/or all volunteers in ministries serving vulnerable adults to complete the training. This includes parents who will be in the classroom for holiday parties and other events throughout the year.

Important Update: No VBS This Summer
After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision not to hold Vacation Bible School (VBS) this summer due to a shortage of available volunteers. We deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and support our community has always shown for this program, and we look forward to exploring new ways to engage with our children and families in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
